Can you recommend gluten free options in Plymouth?

6 Aug

I would really love this site to become the gateway to all things gluten free in Plymouth.  If you are a gluten free restaurant in Plymouth, or somewhere that sells or produces gluten free products I’d love to hear from you so I can mention you on this blog.  It would also be great to hear from other coeliacs and other people following a gluten free diet in the area with your recommendations.  If you know of a great gluten free friendly restaurant, a shop that has a good range of gluten free products or a local gluten free producer then please let me know.

You can leave a comment below, contact me via Twitter or email gfreebythesea@gmail.com.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Have a very recently diagnosed 3-year-old daughter (we live in Plymouth), so shall be watching your site with interest.
PS Pierre’s in the Royal William Yard have a gluten-free menu, and are working with the Coeliac Society.

Sorry to hear that Lilly, and if I can help at all please just ask. Thanks for the tip on Pierre’s, that’s on my list to try and review 🙂

Rockfish was a great fish and chip place, would adapt pretty much anything on the menu with GF batter, very tasty.

Pizza Express GF base is by far the best GF pizza I have ever eaten. Much better than even Pizza Hut.

Las Iguanas has always been awesome for gluten free food.

I’ve had bad experiences in Pierre’s in RWY and Barbican Bar though, where they brought me food with gluten when I asked for GF.
